Goblin Bank

The Goblin Bank is the standing name for the network of vaults, exchanges, and ledger-houses run by the goblin clans who came through The Rift. Every Folk family of any standing keeps at least a token deposit there, both for security and for the social signal it sends.

The same clans who run the Bank also run the mining operations concealed beneath the Eastern Sierras, including the Underpath that serves as Nawadzi’s winter ground-route. Banking and mining are not separate enterprises to the goblin clans. They are two faces of the same long-term strategy: own what is valuable and what is underneath, and do not let either be seen.
